Inspired by the title of the work of Diego Dávalos Figueroa, Nueva Miscelánea Austral is a selection of colonial texts (either by its origin or subject) prepared by the Proyecto de estudios indianos (PEI). Different private and public institutions with the support of servers like Google have digitized enormous volumes of texts of the past centuries.
