Catalog of passengers to the Indies during the XVI, XVII and XVIII centuries

This catalog, prepared by Luis Romera Iruela and María del Carmen Galbin Diez, provides information on the personal data and on the geographical origin of the passengers coming to the Indies. These files seized information from the files of passengers who came to America to perform various crafts: as specialists in agriculture, “maestre de campo” (military chief), and related industries. They came at the request and by recommendations from landlords already established in Peru, many times. These files correspond to los libros de asientos y de los de informaciones y licencias.
